The benefits of strong early childhood education and positive role models in my life weren’t present until I became a little older. Keeping in mind that there are many children who experience high levels of anxiety just like I would have when I was younger, my main motivation to get into the field of ECE was to be the comforting figure for children when they may be experiencing anxiety outside of their homes.
